Function Therapeutics has been awarded a Phase 1 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) (link)
The project is titled: Structure-guided design of anti-inflammatory modulators of protease-activated receptor 1 (PAR1), and will support a structural biology collaboration with the lab of Prof. Marvin Nieman (Case Western Reserve Univ.). This grant will support the design and discovery of next generation parmodulins for the potential treatment of inflammatory diseases.
